Where I Learned to Stay was a solo exhibition presented at Art Space 305 in Wynwood, Miami. The exhibition marked a deeply personal chapter in Atelier Viento’s evolution, exploring the tension between movement and stillness, instability and belonging, and the quiet strength required to remain.
Created with sand, coffee, pigments, and layered acrylic mediums, the works carried the physical presence of erosion, sediment, and time. Their surfaces held traces of pressure, movement, and repair, reflecting a life shaped by constant change and the gradual process of building something permanent.
The exhibition brought together oceanic and earth-toned works as two connected landscapes: one fluid and searching, the other grounded and rooted. Together, they formed a visual record of learning to stay, not only in one place, but within oneself.
