Resurfacing began as a study of material. Ten monochromatic works. One restrained palette. An exploration of how texture alone can create movement, depth, and presence.
Built with coffee, sand, pigments, and layered surfaces, each 12 × 12 inch work became a record of accumulation rather than illustration. Cracks, ridges, erosion, and compressed forms reveal a surface shaped slowly over time.
Together, the collection reflects what remains after pressure, change, and repetition. Nothing disappears. It changes form. Every surface remembers what it has survived.
